PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The EdOptions Credit Access Program (ECAP) partners with EdOptions Online Academy (EOA), a fully accredited online high school, to offer DCFS youth the opportunity to earn transferable credits that can be applied toward their high school diploma in their current home school situation. Additionally, DCFS youth will have the option to earn a high school diploma from EOA once they have earned 21 total credits and have completed minimum of at least 3.5 credits through EOA. Alternately, DCFS youth not seeking a high school diploma will have the option to enroll in a comprehensive GED preparation program. The EdOptions Online Academy award-winning credit classes, diploma and GED programs offer a level of flexibility and one-on-one support from certified online teachers that make graduation and success a reality.
