Added Chance Career Education and Development

The Career Education and Development program prepares young people for meaningful long term careers by assisting them with workshops that prepare them for employment and then by placing them into jobs. 190 youth are trained each year and 140 youth are placed into jobs. This program includes career education workshops for young people and the development of a progressive system of job-related opportunities. The program also works with local businesses and neighborhood education programs to place students into jobs or internships.

This program is funded by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
