Founded in 1972, this NALSAS accredited program serves 165 students citywide. PACHS is a working partner of the Juan Antonio Corretjer Puerto Rican Cultural Center, a member of the National Coalition for Alternative Community Schools and is affiliated with the Youth Connection Charter School.
Programs & Services
The multicultural curriculum of PACHS provides intensive academic and community-oriented learning experiences in the context of Puerto Rican and Latino life. PACHS provides a night school program.
Admissions
Students are required to take a placement exam and interview before applying. All seniors present a graduation project and portfolio as a part of their graduation requirement. Graduation and class fees are required. Full scholarships are available.
