Jane Addams High School (JAHS) is a public, four-year high school serving grades 9-12. The mission of JAHS is to provide the best educational setting to increase every student’s performance and stimulate his or her transformation from a “dropout,” “at-risk” citizen to a “whole” person - mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, financially, and environmentally.
Programs & Services
JAHS believes that exposure to best practices, successful habits of mind, well-rounded education and becoming technologically, culturally and linguistically literate will help its graduates to take ownership of their lives. Ultimately, this will create the best professional and personal opportunities for each graduate and serve as a catalyst for positive social change.
Admissions
Students applying must take an entry exam, as well as submit proof of identity, residency, transcripts, and release form from prior school. A $136 semester activity fee must be paid upon acceptance/enrollment to the school.
